At the barracks of the "123rd Brigade of the Croatian Army" in Požega on June 21, 2024, a ceremony was held for the completion of basic military training of the 42nd generation of conscripts, where awards and commendations were given to the most successful conscripts.
In the center for training and doctrine of logistics Požega, training was conducted to acquire additional training of non-commissioned officers of the Croatian Armed Forces Quartermaster, Traffic and Technical Service. The training consisted of three phases, including theoretical part, professional internship and final exam.
Participants of the 32nd generation of the "Blago Zadro" command and staff school visited the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Croatian Navy and the Guards Mechanized Brigade. The trip included a tour of operational centers, cultural sites, and a veterans' memorial room.
In the NCO school "Damir Tomljanović Gavran" in Požega, a ceremony was held for the completion of the 14th generation of the course for the first NCO of the company. The course was successfully completed by nine participants, who acquired the knowledge and skills to implement physical fitness and plan training.
On 21 June 2024, Lieutenant Commander Stjepan Giljević assumed the duty of Operations Officer in the Command of Operation "EU NAVFOR Somalia – ATALANTA" in Rota, Spain. This mission fights piracy and protects humanitarian deliveries.
